Battle[]

While marching to Chang'an, Li Jue found that Niu Fu, the son-in-law of Dong Zhuo, was coming with 5,000 men to avenge his father by killing Lu Bu. He became the vanguard of Li Jue's Forces. Wang Yun dispatched Lu Bu and Li Su to attack the enemy forces. Niu Fu retired after suffering high casualties, outnumbered. However, in a night attack the forces of Niu Fu routed the enemy forces and Li Su was put to death for his failure in battle. Hu Chier was called in to advise Niu Fu, and he was told to desert the four generals and secrete their valuables. The two men agreed, and Hu Chier double-crossed him, cutting him down and stealing his newfound wealth. He offered the head to Lu Bu, but was killed in response. Lu Bu fell in with Li Jue's battle force and dashed in irrestibly. Li Jue did not make a stand and withdrew. Guo Si plannd to smite Lu Bu's rear while Fan Chou and Zhang Ji would march off to Chang'an. Guo Si attacked the enemy rear and Lu Bu drew off immediately.
