Wang Yun was a minister in the Han Dynasty. In 192, he raised his own forces and killed Dong Zhuo.
History[]
In 189, when Dong Zhuo seized control of the Imperial Court, Wang Yun was appointed Minister of the Interior. He held firm until in 192, when Dong Zhuo planned to kill Emperor Xian and seize full power over China. Then, he recruited Lu Bu and he overthrew Dong Zhuo in a palace coup. He fought against Li Jue until later that year, when he was killed by his forces in Chang'an.
