Xiahou En was a nephew of Cao Cao and bearer of his swords.

Xiahou En was the nephew of Cao Cao, the Governor of You Province, and was also his sword-bearer. When Cao Cao campaigned against Liu Bei of Xu Province, Xiahou En took part in it. At Changban, Cao Cao was pursuing Liu Bei with over 800,000 troops. Liu Bei's General Zhao Yun had entered Changban and rescued his son Liu Shan from the Wei army. On his way back, Xiahou En challenged him to a duel, wagering the "Sword of Trust". Zhao Yun accepted and did away with the young general, taking the sword and giving it as a prize to Liu Bei as Xiahou En's body slumped down the slopes of the Changban Po.
