Zhuge Jin was a Wu strategist, as well as older brother to Zhuge Liang. He was said to have possessed his brother's talents, and was a trusted commander of Sun Quan. He had two children, Zhuge Ke, and Zhuge Qiao.

If Zhuge Jin had been born away from eastern Jing Province, he might have served under Shu. However, he was born instead in the section controlled by Sun Jian, and so he served under the lord of the land. Zhuge Jin served under three generations of the Sun family, eventually serving Sun Quan. Both men agreed never to betray one another, even though Zhuge Jin had to fight Liang in Jingzhou in 219. Zhuge tried to convince Liu Bei away from invading Wu after Fancheng, but Liu Bei invaded and suffered a loss at Yiling. After this battle Zhuge Jin fought in campaigns against Cao Pi and further conquests, eventually becoming Grand General and General of the Left, and died after many tireless invasions of Cao Rui's territory.
